John M. Matheson

John specializes in corporate law and the economic incentive programs of the U.S. Virgin Islands. John has a unique business perspective as he’s held several C-level positions in private industry, including as the CEO of a NYSE-traded, worldwide company. John began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Price Waterhouse, and was previously a partner in a major US law firm.

John is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Georgetown University Law Center, and holds a degree with Highest Honors (summa cum laude) from the University of Oklahoma.

John is licensed to practice in the US Virgin Islands and a member of the bar of the state of Oklahoma (inactive).  John is also a member of the E&Y Hall of Fame for his executive leadership and rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell peer review – The Highest Possible Rating in legal ability & ethical standards.
