Exempt Companies

We have extensive experience helping clients establish and operate exempt companies (US Virgin Islands corporations owned by shareholders who do not reside in the United States or the US Virgin Islands). Exempt companies pay only an annual franchise tax of $1,000 to the US Virgin Islands government and are exempt from all taxes on income from business activities outside the US Virgin Islands and the United States and on US Virgin Islands source income, such as interest and dividends.
